Stand Up Paddling

Stand up paddle boarding, most commonly called SUP, is a paddle sport where one stands on a long board and uses a paddle to move through the water. SUP is one of the fastest growing paddle sports in the world and has historical root to indigenous African, South American, and Polynesian people who used paddle boards for transportation and leisure. With the abundance of coastal lines and beaches in WA, it's a great way to enjoy the waters.

SUP offers a great opportunity to relax, find your balance, develop core strength and have a good time. The glassy waters of Matilda bay are a great place to see the city skyline, soak up the sun, and maybe even see a dolphin!

The ODC operates out of the UWA Watersports complex where we have quick access to the swan river when ideal weather conditions present themselves.
