Set activities of the club include: Climbing, Sea and Flat Water Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Hiking, Wind Surfing, and Social Events.

How Do I Hear About Events?

Events are advertised through the clubs email server. To gain access to the email server you must be a paid member of the club, which you can do through the Join Tab on the top of this page.

Why am I not getting emails?

Your membership may have expired leading your email to be removed from our mailing list or you email address may not be correctly recorded for our Google group.

  1. You can check this by,

  2. Ensuring your membership is still current.

  3. Checking you are part of our Google group, and that the email address we have on record is correct (done at 'groups.google.com').

  4. Finally, if both of these factors seem to be in order, our emails may simply be going to spam. This is very common so please check before contacting our membership's officer. Our committee contacts can be found on the Contact Tab.

When are Events Run?

Events are ran by our volunteer instructors, often squeezed into their busy uni and work schedules and are dependent on weather conditions. If you are looking to have a specific session ran it's best to contact that discipline's officer. Our committee contacts can be found on the Contact Tab.

Why is there different skill levels?

Our club encourages mentorship, proper technique and safe procedures in every discipline we run. This ensures you get a base education for your discipline's skill set and it minimizes the risk to yourself and others. Different activities require a different skillset, and we teach you these skills before you can attend specific activities to make sure everyone is safe. Our Bylaws lay out our skill progression program for each discipline: Level 1 is basic skills and at Level 2 and 3 you will begin to teach others. Find the bylaws under Club Documents.

How do I become a Volunteer Instructor?

Our Bylaws lay out our skill progression program for each discipline: Level 1 is basic skills and at Level 2 and 3 you will begin to teach others. All of our volunteer instructors are signed off by Level 2 and 3 instructors before they can run sessions. Find the bylaws under Club Documents.
