UWA Outdoor Club

Another AGM has come and gone for the club, with a whirlwind of paddling, BBQ's and catching up. Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially Nari for organising it. Thanks also to all the outgoing committee for all their work, especially Nari for all the work she's put in as president, and Maria for her tireless work as Treasurer.

So, to the new committee - thanks to everyone who volunteered, here are the positions for the record:

You'll notice there's a few spots still open, so if you're keen to influence the future direction of the club, and have a lot of fun in the process, but just couldn't make it to the AGM, it's not too late!

Tom's kindly volunteered for the secretary spot, but we're still short of people for all the best jobs!
Being on the committee is a great chance to give something back to the club, and a good excuse / motivation to go out on some more trips. It really consists of whatever you make of it - there's no requirement to be forever organising trips, it's more a matter of letting people know what's happening. If you'd like to know more about the positions, just email the previous person (email addresses are on the website). Otherwise if you see a spot you'd like, or I missed you out in the above list, just let me know.

Meanwhile, the days are getting longer, the weather is warming up, so see you out there!
