We are here for 5 months, just arrived, working at UWA and would love to try. Ksawery and Agnieszka P.S. You can reply to ksaw@bio.aau.dk if you want Ksawery Kuligowski

If you're new to climbing, then just coming along to the Wednesday night odc climbs is probably a great idea. The guys at the gym show you all you need to know to get started there, and I'm sure there are plenty of great odc people to meet there too. :o) (I've just come back from traveling, so I may or may not know anyone who climbs then). The gyms (rockface, at least) also do indoor lead climbing lessons (though they cost a bit, and learning this from other people, and having gym instructors assess you works too). Then there's also the recreate course: [link] Which is outdoors, and may be what you're after, though it's just one day... I know there are also supposed to be more advanced courses out there, but I don't know much about them.
